From John & Kim Connors - Our son is a healthy 11 year old boy with Hirschprung's Disease. His good health is due to the great care he received at SickKids Hospital in Toronto. That time was not without its ups and downs though, and getting a diagnosis was a very challenging and scary time for us. He underwent four surgeries between the age of 10 weeks and 9 months old. The highly emotional time spent in The Waiting Room inspired me to write a song about the experience and I have now finished a recording of the song with my band, The Connors Brothers. We would like the opportunity to give back using this song. So at this time we are exclusively releasing it here on Bandcamp, and all of the proceeds from the sale of downloads of this song from now until March 31st, 2022 are being donated to REACH HD Canada which is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children and families affected by Hirschsprung Disease by increasing awareness, promoting education, connecting families and supporting various research around the world.
